Title Service Technician – Electronic Security

About the role

The kind of Technician that we are looking for should have had exposure to the Electronics Industry in repairs and services, or a similar environment.

Your very busy day will include:

  • Providing pre and post sales technical and field technical support
  • Managing and assessing faulty products and coordinating the repairs
  • Setting up devices on networks with IP addresses
  • Understanding of Network setting in Windows 10 and basic network command eg PING
  • Setting up of routers and firmware upgrading
  • Software installation and implementation
  • Understanding of cables and connection eg.HDMI,VGA,CATS
  • Training
  • Test and evaluate products
  • Helping to resolve issues
  • Provide support on site

Skills and experience

Ideally, the successful candidate should have at least 2 years experience in a similar setting and solid knowledge of the IT and technical basics. Exposure to voltage and current, testing of Electronics such as relays, batteries, power supplies would complete the skills required. An understanding of Bosch Access Control, CCTV and alarm systems would be advantageous but not essential.
