The Role

This role needs a person who understands the road map to an A & E type sale with the ability to navigate quickly to the people they need to speak to in order to have products specified. It requires someone who’s sense of achievement is found in delivering client-focused solutions with outcomes that satisfy everyone involved from the consultant/FM to the developer, the builder, the security contractor/electrical contractor and just as importantly, the consumer/end user.

Tasked with finding solutions to problems people didn’t even know they had or solutions to problems they knew they had but didn’t know how to fix, the person they are looking for will enjoy thinking outside the box and have the confidence to deliver high quality, expensive and in depth product offerings to seasoned professionals who will take notice of the finer details.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take a new but well developed, trialled and tested product range to Consultants, Engineers, Developers and Facilities Management teams in the Government (Health, Correctional, Education and Defence), Retail, Transport and Private Construction markets to show them what’s possible with technology in 2019 and the benefits of such technology.
  • Combine their extensive product range to present a value proposition that can’t be overlooked and be prepared to explain why their current system/product doesn’t compare.
  • Engage and influence key stakeholders in the initial pre-construction stages and show them why their product is right for them.
  • Research and provide tendering assistance in the latter stages to ensure that initial efforts aren’t wasted.
  • Develop an ever expanding client portfolio and a reputation for reliability that ensures that their business and products are the chosen ones each and every time.

Key Requirements

  • Proven sales experience at an A & E level dealing with highly competitive products.
  • A wealth of existing contacts and relationships with relevant demographics (A,E,D & FM)
  • Emotionally stable person who celebrates the wins and doesn’t sweat a loss
  • An ambitious, creative, entrepreneurial, tenacious, driven, dynamic, well presented and passionate person with a desire to know the products they sell and the ones they sell against
  • Experience in assisting with or tendering for large commercial and enterprise level projects

This role will be supported with a pre and post specification sales technical engineer and will be remunerated according to the successful candidate’s ability, experience and potential you will also be eligible to share in the company’s profit share scheme.
